Voltpost Platform
June 2022 - May 2025
The Voltpost Platform is an electric vehicle charging solution that retrofits existing lampposts to provide curbside Level 2 charging.
The system is fully modular - units can be swapped out in minutes without an electrician, minimizing downtime.
Each charger has an integrated cable-management system which can dispense over 20 feet of cable and safely retracts it back into the unit when not in use.
I contributed to building, iterating, problem-solving, testing, and deploying the Voltpost Platform.

Building
Built dozens of chargers in-house for deployment, testing, and demos.
Failures & Lessons Learned
Along the way, we encountered plenty of failures. The smell of burnt electronics is familiar to the team. Each misstep came with valuable insights that improved both the product and our processes.
Deployment
Built, installed, and deployed Voltpost chargers from Staten Island, New York to Ypsilanti, Michigan.
The Team
Worked with a small team of engineers and designers to take the Voltpost Platform from concept to deployment. I am grateful to have collaborated with such a talented group and to have learned from experienced mentors.
Testing
Testing, testing, testing. Functional tests, regulatory tests, material testing, performance testing, and user testing.
