Automated IMU Sealer

Designed and prototyped an automated fixture system for IMU assembly, featuring interlocking mechanisms to secure the lid and body while dispensing epoxy and performing automatic alignment and mating. The system incorporated quick-release mounts, snap-fit features, and magnetic attachments to significantly reduce assembly time. Using stepper motors and linear rails, the fixture precisely applied an even bead of epoxy along the lid seam and automatically closed the lid onto the body. The design also enabled in-fixture curing, ensuring consistent sealing quality and improving overall assembly efficiency.
